We publish reviews, comparisons, and guides about the software, financial services, and tools that modern earners actually use. Wise, Payoneer, GCash, Notion, Make.com, Beehiiv — the infrastructure layer of building income online.
Every article goes through a documented editorial process: research from official sources, structured drafting, fact-check against the dossier, and a final review pass. We commit to that process publicly on our Editorial Standards page.
Every review or comparison includes a "Reality Layer" — the section that names what the marketing page won't say: hidden costs, lock-in risks, and the specific user types who should not use the tool. Marketing-only takes don't get published. Period.
We don't write "we tested," "in our experience," or "our team found." We're a small editorial team operating from documented public sources, not a hands-on review lab — and we say so. The voice of every article is direct, useful, and free of marketing fluff.
Many of our articles contain affiliate links, fully disclosed. But our recommendations are not influenced by which merchant pays the highest commission. When the better option for the reader is the one that pays us less — or no commission at all — we say so. The trust this builds compounds; that's the actual business model.

That's the test we apply to every article before it ships. We'd rather publish three useful articles a week than ten clickbait ones.
We're independent and reader-supported through affiliate revenue. When you click a link to a tool we review and sign up for a paid plan, we earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. Every article that uses affiliate links discloses this at the bottom.
We don't run display ads right now. We don't accept sponsored articles. We don't sell user data. (See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.) When we eventually activate other revenue streams, we'll update this page and disclose it openly.
ModernEarner was founded in May 2026 by Donn Rapatalo — an independent editor and operator with a background in auditing and financial systems, writing from a Filipino-diaspora perspective on tools for modern income builders. The publication is run by a small independent editorial team. Articles publish under the "ModernEarner Editorial" byline rather than under individual names — partly because the work is collaborative, partly because we'd rather you judge each piece on its evidence than on a writer's resume.
